About the Job

The Market Operations Manager I will be responsible for managing customer experience, ensuring all associates meet brand standards and customer expectations, and maintaining safe, clean, organized storage centers and staging areas. This role also requires compliance with DOT requirements, OSHA regulations, and local zoning codes.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, interview, hire, train, identify, and retain top talent to drive business success.
  • Customer Support: Provide daily support, including coaching and hands-on training for associates, to ensure excellent customer experiences.
  • Culture Alignment: Foster a culture aligned with PODS core values (Integrity, Delighting Customers, Engagement, Accountability, Support Through Teamwork).
  • Performance Management: Effectively administer PODS performance management process to drive associate performance and growth.
  • Customer Experience: Manage customer experience to meet or exceed PODS CSAT and DSAT goals.
  • Brand Standards: Ensure all associates meet expectations for brand standards and customer interactions.
  • Asset Management: Manage corporate owned assets, daily routing, ETA/JPH performance, and scheduling/operational delays.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with DOT requirements, OSHA regulations, and local zoning codes.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma required; college degree preferred or a minimum of 1 year of prior management experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Ability to apply and successfully attain CDL Class B License or higher, and maintain a current/valid driver license from the state in which position is assigned.
  • Mechanical Ability: Mechanical ability essential to identify problems with equipment.
Working Conditions

This role operates within regular business hours, with some additional hours required, including Saturdays/Sundays. Travel requirements are within a local territory, and storage centers are climate controlled, deliveries made in all weather conditions.
