About the Role

Kent Services is a leading provider of integrated security solutions for commercial and residential properties. As a Residential Security Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting individuals and property, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality security services, including patrol duties and CCTV monitoring
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Remain flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment, responding to changing situations and priorities
  • Familiarize yourself with site-specific post orders and operations manuals
  • Enforce client and company policies, rules, and regulations
  • Monitor CCTV systems and alarms, responding promptly to any incidents or issues
  • Patrol facilities on foot or in a vehicle, as required

Requirements

  • Valid Class D Security License
  • Prior contract security, military, or law enforcement experience is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Flexible availability
  • Age 18 or older, as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of Kent Security Services' New Hire Orientation Course
  • Computer literacy
