Job Summary:

The Glendive Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients with a variety of medical and/or surgical conditions.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with patient care treatments and procedures, under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
  • Use de-escalation techniques to manage agitated patients.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current BLS certification.
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant course or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
  • Previous hospital experience with acceptable references.
  • Ability to lift/move patients of all sizes using proper body mechanics and/or patient lift equipment.
  • Ability to withstand physical and emotional stress.
