Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dentist 2 to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in the field of oral health.

About the Role

This Dentist 2 will provide comprehensive dental care services, diagnosing and treating various conditions affecting teeth and gums. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations, utilizing x-rays, mouth mirrors, and other diagnostic tools to identify pathological or irregular conditions.
  • Treat dental diseases, injuries, and malfunctions, including performing restorations, administering anesthetics, and extracting teeth when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain accurate written records of patient treatments, providing detailed explanations and recommendations for future care.
  • Collaborate with paraprofessional staff, offering guidance and instruction on auxiliary duties to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A valid license to practice dentistry in New York State.
  • A minimum of four years of full-time post-licensure experience in dentistry, with two years in a supervisory capacity.
  • NYS certification in Dental Enteral Conscious Sedation (or willingness to obtain).
