The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the driver in collecting refuse from customer locations and loading it into a heavy-duty sanitation vehicle. This involves transferring refuse in a timely and safe manner, assisting the driver while maneuvering into positions for collection and disposal, and maintaining and cleaning the vehicle.

As a Garbage Truck Collection Helper, you will spend most of your day in the cab of the truck, on the back of the truck, or moving around the truck for trash collection. You must be able to physically mount and dismount the truck throughout the duration of the work day and constantly lift, push, and pull waste bags and receptacles that weigh approximately lbs.

To be successful in this role, you must meet the physical standards specified above, be at least 18 years of age, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.
