Qualifications:
Must possess valid licensure in Ohio as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a cardiovascular focus; ideally with a minimum of three years of experience in catheterization procedures.
Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.

Work Schedule and Compensation:
This is a full-time position with day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
The role includes rotating on-call responsibilities for evenings and weekends, with a required response time of 30 minutes. Call rooms are available for convenience.
Compensation ranges from $26.74 to $36.33 per hour, commensurate with experience, along with additional on-call pay of $4 per hour. A minimum of one hour of pay is guaranteed for each call-in case at a rate of 1.5 times the hourly wage.

A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including a retention bonus of $10,000, distributed in three installments throughout the first year of employment, contingent upon a two-year commitment.



Key Responsibilities:
Deliver expert cardiovascular care to patients, assisting physicians during various procedures.
Serve as a crucial link between patients, families, and medical staff, ensuring the effective operation of technical equipment.
Prepare cardiac catheterization lab rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Exhibit proficiency in pressure monitoring, cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, EKG interpretation, sterile techniques, and radiation safety protocols.
Perform scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring duties throughout all catheterization lab procedures.
Ensure the operative area is prepared and maintained as required.
Accurately document procedural information, medication administration, and communicate any changes to relevant personnel during procedures.

Respond to emergencies, provide post-procedure information to patients and their families, and assist cardiologists with their needs during interventions.

Participate in the cleanup and preparation of the room for subsequent cases.
Utilize digital imaging techniques and maintain accurate data storage.
Collect and enter necessary information for data submission requirements.
Maintain awareness of supply usage for effective billing and inventory management.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of cardiac pharmacology and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Safely remove arterial and venous sheaths and ensure thorough documentation. Stay informed about closure devices and assist with their application and post-procedure care.
