Job Overview

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nondestructive Evaluation Quality Analyst to join our team at Lorven Technologies. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of mining and construction machinery through various inspection techniques, including Ultrasonic Testing, Phased Array UT, Radiography, Visual Inspection of welds, and Magnetic Particle Testing. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate degree in Nondestructive Testing Technology or a related field, with a preference for AWS CWI Certification, alongside a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of materials and components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications for nondestructive testing.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with laboratory personnel, internal quality engineers, and external suppliers to uphold quality standards.

Candidate Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Associate of Applied Science in Nondestructive Testing Technology or equivalent qualifications.
  • AWS CWI Certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Expertise in Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
  • Proficiency in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (UTPA).
  • Experience with Radiography Testing (RT).
  • Skilled in Visual Testing/Inspection of welds (VT).
  • Knowledge of Magnetic Particle Testing/Inspection (MT).

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of NDE techniques including UT, UTPA, RT, VT, and MT.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and various software applications.
