    About the Role:

        As an AWS Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that meet the needs of our business. This includes building and maintaining frameworks using stored procedures and Python to simplify design patterns, developing data APIs (Web/REST APIs), and setting up infrastructure with the infrastructure team.

    About You:

        We are looking for someone with strong experience in data warehousing, OLTP, OLAP, dimension, facts, and data modeling. Additionally, you should have expertise in implementing Python design patterns, reading, transforming, and writing data sets, and working with boto3, pandas, numpy, pyarrow, Requests, Fast API, Asyncio, Aiohttp, PyTest, OAuth 2.0, multithreading, multiprocessing, snowflake python connector, and Snowpark.

    Requirements:

  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor and collaborate with a global team
  • Strong experience with Snowflake, including SQL, Pipes, Stream, Tasks, Time Travel, Data Sharing, and Query Optimization
  • Experience with scripting languages in Snowflake, including SQL Stored Procs, Java Script Stored Procedures, and Python UDFs
  • Understanding of Snowflake internals and experience integrating with reporting and UI applications
  • Strong experience with AWS tools, such as S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda, SNS, SQS, etc.
  • Experience with application and library packaging and distribution, like Wheel packages, Zipapp, and Pyinstaller, and Docker containerization
