At Power Equipment Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Shop Service Technician to join our team. As a Shop Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions on heavy equipment
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on equipment and repairs
  • Overhaul and test machines to ensure operating efficiency
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer specifications and industry developments
Requirements:
  • High school diploma and technical school training in diesel engine/hydraulics/heavy equipment repair
  • Experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic
  • Own tools and equipment
  • Volvo and/or dealership experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills
  • Ability to work overtime and lift up to 60 lbs.
