About the Role

Toole Design is seeking a skilled CADD Technician to join our Minneapolis team. As a CADD Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting design document production for a wide range of projects, from complex roadways and streetscapes to signature trail projects in the natural environment.

You will assist our designers in applying industry best practices to produce high-quality CADD-based deliverables, from concept to detailed final design plans for construction. Your expertise in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting MicroStation software will be invaluable in advancing our team's skills and efficiency.

We are looking for a team player who is passionate about sustainability and the opportunity to work on challenging multimodal projects that make communities more livable. If you have excellent task and time management skills, are interested in keeping up with new CADD technologies and trends, and enjoy producing high-quality work products, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Support design document production for a wide range of projects
  • Assist designers in applying industry best practices to produce high-quality CADD-based deliverables
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot MicroStation software
  • Advance team skills and efficiency in CADD software
  • Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplined team to prepare quality, graphically consistent, and technically accurate deliverables
Requirements
  • Associate degree or Certification in CADD Technology, Engineering Technology, or comparable
  • Years of experience using CADD software for civil or roadway drafting
  • Capable of efficiently producing high-quality CADD drawings
  • Knowledge in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting MicroStation software
  • Experience in drafting construction documents for transportation projects in MicroStation
