Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver crisis intervention, support, advocacy, and essential information to clients through direct interaction or via the crisis hotline. Evaluate safety and coordinate necessary resources.
- Maintain comprehensive client records and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Offer continuous emotional support, motivation, and relevant information to clients as required.
- Collaborate with clients to formulate and uphold meaningful case plans. Facilitate access to both internal and external resources for effective case management.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bilingual candidates are preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required.
- Completion of a 65-hour state-mandated training program on domestic violence and sexual assault is necessary (training will be provided).
- Understanding and sensitivity towards survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
- Proficiency in managing crises and high-pressure situations.
- Experience in juggling multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Able to engage with a culturally diverse clientele.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance is mandatory.
