Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is $1566-1887 per week, with 36 hours of work per week. This compensation includes wages and expense reimbursement, which may vary depending on factors related to the facility or applicant. Please note that estimated payments do not include taxes, insurance, or other deductions that may occur.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Kearney, NE. As a Progressive Care Unit Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes. Your expertise in critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to ensure effective treatment plans.
- Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Transport patients as needed and perform other duties assigned by management.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Step-down or Intermediate Care setting.
- A valid RN license in the state where you will be practicing, BLS certification, and PCCN certification (if applicable).
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directions.
- Physical abilities to remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending, and grasping.
