Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks on our molding presses and support equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Equipment Repair: Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment under the supervision of our Maintenance Supervisor.
- Supply Management: Maintain accurate records of supplies and equipment needs, and report any issues or concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure that all equipment and tools are properly stored and maintained.
- Safety: Identify and report any potential safety hazards, and participate in regular safety inspections and training.
- Education and Experience: Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
The work environment is typically moderate, with some exposure to noise and machinery. Steel-toed shoes and eye protection are required. Hearing protection is available if desired.
