Job Summary

As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services in a fast-paced emergency medical services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing patient care and transportation services in accordance with company protocols and procedures.
  • Administer pre-hospital care and inter-facility medical care, utilizing knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures for vehicle maintenance, equipment management, and supply inventory.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless patient care and transportation services.

Requirements:

  • Current EMT-B licensure and BLS certification.
  • Valid Georgia Driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment, as well as work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
