Bus Driver

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our team at RATP Dev USA. As a Bus Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our passengers.

• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Act as the front-line point of contact to ensure delivery of quality customer service, providing a safe and courteous experience for all passengers.
• Safely Operate Buses: Safely operate several types of buses through light to heavy city and freeway traffic, adhering to all federal, state, and local laws regarding traffic and safety.
• Manage Routes and Schedules: Passengers safely and courteously according to specified routes, making only designated stops in the order prescribed, unless otherwise communicated by the Dispatch Office.
• Comply with Regulations: Comply with all company safety rules and regulations, operating assigned vehicles to meet customer standards.
• Assist Customers: Assist customers with disabilities, on and off the wheelchair lift, and provide assistance with safety restraints as requested.
• Promote Safety Awareness: Promote safety awareness and follow safety procedures to reduce or eliminate accidents.
• Perform Pre-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip inspections and complete DVIR in accordance with FMCSR to ensure bus and equipment are in safe, proper working condition.
• Communicate with Dispatch: Coordinate detour, accident, and incident information to radio dispatch, and respond to instructions given.
• Make Independent Decisions: Make effective independent decisions and manage conflicts based on safety, experience, training, and policies.
• Collect and Process Fares: Follow procedures for the collection, processing, and documentation of fares and counting passengers as required.
• Report Incidents: Report and properly follow up on all accidents or unusual incidents in, on, or near RATP Dev vehicles.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Requires the candidate to pass a DOT Physical exam.
• Have a High school diploma or equivalent.
