**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Denial Specialist to join our team at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

**Responsibilities**

* Assist with managing and tracking denials, audit appeals, and responses
* Collect and perform data analysis of denial and audit activity
* Work with PFS and assist other departments on medical necessity issues
* Assist with identification and recovery of underpayments
* Assist with enrollment, re-enrollment, and validation of various payor programs

**Requirements**

* Associate's degree in Business or related field
* Minimum 6 months recent experience with patient accounting, case management, internal audit, and/or process improvement
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of products
* General knowledge of accessing websites and portals
