Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome every guest upon arrival
  • Manage guest registrations and bookings, confirming reservations, contact details, and payment information
  • Demonstrate proficiency in kiosk operations to assist guests as needed
  • Handle all incoming calls with professionalism
  • Possess detailed knowledge of hotel amenities and the surrounding area
  • Process payments for guest accounts during registration and checkout
  • Maintain a cash drawer and accurately report daily receipts
  • Facilitate all retail transactions for guests
  • Ensure retail areas are well-stocked and maintained
  • Issue luggage claims and manage guest luggage requests
  • Uphold the hotel's aesthetic standards, ensuring cleanliness and optimal conditions
  • Address guest complaints with respect and professionalism
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Prior customer service experience in the hospitality sector is highly desirable
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, email, and internet navigation
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a reliable vehicle with insurance
  • A strong alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates
  • Availability to work flexible hours based on hotel needs
