Job Opportunity: Phlebotomist

This is a contract job opportunity with potential for permanent placement. The successful candidate will work as a Phlebotomist, responsible for collecting and processing blood samples in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and process blood samples from patients, ensuring accurate labeling and storage.
  • Operate laboratory equipment, including centrifuges and microscopes.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and specimen collection.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with laboratory procedures and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in a laboratory or hospital setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bi-lingual skills.
  • Experience with laboratory information systems.

This is a temporary FLOAT position, with the opportunity to work in various locations within the Imperial Valley. The successful candidate will be required to maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all laboratory safety protocols.

Benefits: Available to qualified candidates.

Pay Rate: $22 per hour.
