Job Description

This role involves providing evidence-based clinical care to critically ill patients in various settings, including critical care, obstetrics, ED (Emergency Department), and behavioral health. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will evaluate, treat, and care for patients with a wide range of lung diseases and respiratory disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and develop patient care plans to ensure optimal respiratory care.
  • Implement and monitor advanced respiratory care modalities, including blood gas puncture and analysis.
  • Assess patients for appropriate treatment types and frequencies.
  • Monitor and record patients' conditions, communicating effectively with healthcare teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) Board Licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
