Job Summary

Frito-Lay North America is seeking a reliable and skilled Class A CDL driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor/trailer and transporting products to and from specified destinations in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations
  • Load and unload trailers, including manual and palletized loading/unloading
  • Lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Count cases to ensure orders are correct
  • Review weight limits on manifests and use visual aids to ensure accuracy
  • Use an electronic logging device to track hours and locations
  • Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch to ensure smooth delivery and pickup
  • Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections to ensure vehicle safety
Requirements
  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license
  • At least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods of time, up to 11 hours per day, with or without a reasonable accommodation
