About the Job

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with consumers, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized service plans. Your primary duty will be to provide support and guidance to consumers, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

You will be responsible for assisting consumers with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and using the restroom. You will also help consumers with meal planning, preparation, and eating regulations, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals who have intellectual and behavioral differences. You must also be able to act independently and function as part of a larger team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans
  • Provide one-on-one support to consumers
  • Assist consumers with daily living tasks, such as bathing and dressing
  • Help consumers with meal planning, preparation, and eating regulations
  • Perform household maintenance tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and dishes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Must complete Livescan background check
  • Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Current TB test, CPR/First Aid Certification
