About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Dover Corporation. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process, working collaboratively with our production team to assemble high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble component parts into sub-assemblies, assemblies, and completed units, adhering to standard work instructions and assembly travelers.
  • Operate hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic tools to perform assembly tasks.
  • Maintain acceptable performance standards for assembly, production, quality, safety, and housekeeping.
  • Perform minor adjustments or setups to equipment or machines under supervision.
  • Inspect parts or completed units using visual inspection, gages, tape measures, check fixtures, calipers, or other inspection equipment.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the lead person or department supervisor.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-2 years of production assembly work experience
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Basic PC skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions and decimals
  • Good communication skills
  • Understanding of 6S
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced and complex environment
