This 256-bed facility is a Level II Trauma Center, providing a challenging and rewarding environment for the right candidate. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing all respiratory care-related duties, including setting up and administering routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages. You will also be responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation. In the absence of the full-time Team Leader, you will be expected to be self-directed and maintain all department and hospital records, entering accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given. To be successful in this role, you must be a Florida licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligible for state licensure. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for respiratory care, we encourage you to apply.
