Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs, developing and implementing individualized plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide respiratory and ventilator management as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, documenting changes and updates in a timely manner.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Current Indiana Registered Nurse license or active Compact State licensure.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support required upon hire.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with an Associate's Degree.
  • ICU experience required.
