Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Opportunity

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a 14-week temporary assignment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, positioning patients for optimal anatomy/pathology demonstration, and operating radiation-producing equipment and electronic radiology systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients
  • Position patients for optimal anatomy/pathology demonstration
  • Operate radiation-producing equipment and electronic radiology systems
  • Prepare patient rooms, equipment, and medications as needed
Requirements:
  • Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT Certification
