About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Williams Companies Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical and economic evaluations, performance testing, design, and construction of new and existing facilities
  • Apply your strong understanding of industry and operational requirements to drive innovation and improvement
  • Lead the electrical engineering efforts for compressor station turbine installation
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans, and meet training needs
  • Champion processes, procedures, and safety standards
  • Monitor and control costs and resources associated with projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
  • Experience leading the electrical engineering efforts for compressor station turbine installation
  • Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)
  • Proficiency in reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing Instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems
  • Experience working in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of small to medium facility projects
