A Critical Access Hospital is in search of a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to provide exceptional inpatient care. This facility operates without an ICU and features a well-equipped 10-bed Emergency Department, managing a daily admission rate of approximately 1 to 4 patients.
Patient Care ModelThe majority of the hospital's inpatients are classified as skilled/swing and/or dwp, which typically do not require daily visits. The current staffing model includes two full-time hospitalists and two part-time providers, ensuring 24/7 coverage with a schedule that allows for 7 days off.
Transitioning Work ScheduleAs the team evolves, there will be a shift to a 7 on / 7 off schedule. The base salary for this position can reach up to $325,000, with additional compensation available for those interested in taking on afternoon office hours. There is also a part-time option available, offering 4 to 10 shifts per month, which includes rounding and after-hours call responsibilities.
