The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to residents in our long-term care facility. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Conduct assessments, administer medications, and provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
- Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care plans to ensure accurate and effective care.
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans, under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
