Job Title: Rehabilitation Counselor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Counselor to join our team at Telecare Corporation. As a Rehabilitation Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitation therapy services to clients, both on an individual and group basis, and serving as a member of the multi-disciplinary Recovery Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide rehabilitation therapy services to clients, including individual and group sessions, to promote recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with the Rehabilitation Therapist Supervisor and other team members to develop and implement client-centered treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, observations, and documentation of client behavior and progress.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote client engagement and participation in rehabilitation activities.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health recovery and wellness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field.
  • At least six months of experience in group facilitation, education, and/or event planning with individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Valid California driver's license and a driving record that ensures insurability to drive company vehicles.
  • Understanding of psychiatric illness and recovery principles.
