Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and charismatic Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for demonstrating knowledge and love of the brand while ensuring each customer has an exciting and enjoyable experience. You will bring a positive attitude and service mentality to every interaction, striving to delight the Forever 21 shopper.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers, responding promptly to their inquiries and needs.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to deliver a great customer experience, using basic selling techniques to engage with customers.
  • Assist in the location, availability, and selection of merchandise, introducing current sales, promotions, credit card applications, and other brand initiatives to gain customer loyalty.
  • Follow the Company's Customer FIRST model, completing sales transactions and maintaining proper accountability at registers.
  • Process merchandise returns and exchanges courteously and under company guidelines.
  • Speak positively about the brand, customers, and team members, demonstrating initiative, teamwork, and ownership in every interaction.
  • Maintain the visual standards for the selling floor, fitting rooms, visual displays, and presentations.
  • Assist in daily store recovery, before, during, or after store opening hours.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and loss prevention practices.
  • Share feedback and ideas with management to improve store processes.
  • Adapt to a changing environment, managing multiple tasks, and providing support for all cross-functional departments.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Minimum of one year of retail sales experience and previous cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Must be energetic and charismatic, with strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and act with integrity and business maturity.
  • Must be able to complete sales transactions in the POS register system.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts.
  • Must be able to spend up to 100% of working time standing and walking.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive finger, hand, and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, and working with cleaning chemicals.
