Job Summary:
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a full-time, day shift position. As a LPN, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in assisted living, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
- Document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Counsel residents, family members and/or resident advocate, under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider or physician on prevention and treatment plans.
- Knowledge of resident education principles to develop a self-care program.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
Requirements:
- One year of experience preferred in one of the following settings: long-term care, subacute care, or medical/surgical.
- Specific services/positions may have additional education, training, or experience requirements.
