Exciting opportunity for a Corporate Counsel with a focus on Litigation to join a dynamic in-house legal team.

Our client, a prominent international organization, is looking for an in-house legal advisor to enhance their streamlined legal department. Candidates with experience in the Northeast region are preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in a top-tier law firm specializing in Litigation, while transitioning into a role that encompasses general corporate legal responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with various business units, proactively addressing intricate legal and operational challenges, and acting as a vital strategic partner and advisor.


• Offer legal counsel in areas such as strategic litigation oversight, employment law, and adherence to regulatory standards.


• Innovatively resolve issues and facilitate coordination among different business teams.


• Guide the organization and its subsidiaries in formulating workplace policies and procedures that comply with relevant laws.


• Comprehend business needs and the organization’s risk appetite.


• Effectively engage outside legal counsel and direct escalations to senior management to make informed decisions that align with business objectives.


• Remain updated on laws, regulations, and other statutory obligations pertinent to the organization’s operations.


• Availability for occasional early morning communications with international colleagues.

Education & Experience


• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law institution.


• Active member in good standing of at least one state bar.


• Required Experience: 3-5 years of litigation expertise. Candidates with experience in litigation against governmental entities, such as SEC or Antitrust matters, are highly preferred.
