Job Description:

The Beverage Service Specialist will provide beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. This role involves preparing drinks for other servers to deliver to guests and acting as the cashier for the lounge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to obtain any necessary government-required licenses or certifications.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Basic knowledge of beverage preparation and service, particularly regarding various alcoholic beverages. Liquor certification may be required by state or local regulations.

A service-oriented mindset, with knowledge of principles and processes for delivering customer and personal services.

A High School Diploma is required.

Previous bartending experience is necessary.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Ensure proper and adequate bar setup on a daily basis.

Maintain stock levels and prepare and store all garnishes, juices, and other perishables to guarantee product quality.

Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.

Promote and document drink orders.

Input orders into the register at the point of sale and create checks for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers.

Process all payments for beverage purchases and ensure the accuracy of these transactions to balance all funds.

Securely store all beverage, food, and other equipment items.

Deposit cash drops and secure the cash bank.

Perform general cleaning tasks to comply with Health Department regulations.

Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.

Carry out other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
