Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for operating vascular US equipment to produce scans and physiologic equipment to produce plethysmographic and Doppler waveforms and segmental pressure data for diagnostic procedures in the Vascular Lab.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate vascular US equipment to produce high-quality scans and physiologic data
  • Provide quality patient care to patients having vascular procedures
  • Communicate and explain various procedures to patients and families
  • Process required paperwork and maintain knowledge of all supplies and stocks
  • Assess patient's condition and vascular status to determine and perform appropriate exam and obtain specific diagnostic results
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound technology, vascular technology, or a cardiovascular program
  • Two years of ultrasound experience with at least one of those years in an area of vascular technology
  • RVT, RVS, or RT (VS) certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required
