Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at VIP Employment Solutions LLC. This is a 3rd shift position working Sunday through Thursday, 11pm-7:30am, in Ayer, MA.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for overseeing the repairing and performing preventive maintenance on all production machinery on the 3rd shift. This will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assisting in managing the equipment component inventory with the Maintenance Manager
  • Working through the e-maintenance system, efficiently tackling maintenance requests as needed
  • Troubleshooting and repairing a variety of machinery and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Communicating with other members of maintenance on varying shifts about updates and needed repairs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Maintenance Mechanic experience or related field/experience
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, especially with Allen Bradley systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for 8 hours and bend, lift, and move consistently
  • Welding prowess (Stick, Mig, and Tig) is a big plus
Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary of $30-33 hourly, with opportunities for advancement and training & development.
