Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory therapeutic and diagnostic care to patients according to established standards and practices.
  • Perform electrocardiogram and other related examinations for patients as directed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and maintain patient records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care delivery.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduation from a CoArc accredited program.
  • Current licensure by the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Current licensure thru the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
  • One to two years' clinical experience, which may include experience while attending a respiratory therapy program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and adapting to changing tasks and situations.
