About the Role

The Navigators is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Glen Eyrie. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all dishware, equipment, and kitchen areas
  • Operate and maintain the dish machine, reporting any issues to your supervisor
  • Monitor water temperature and chemical levels to ensure a sanitary wash cycle
  • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
  • Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized
  • Bag and haul kitchen trash to the dumpster
  • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
  • Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining and kitchen areas
Additional Duties
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Food & Beverage Director
  • Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times
  • Ensure a safe working environment and attitude among all employees in areas of responsibility
Requirements
  • Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with other team members
  • Ability to work unsupervised and communicate clearly with Chefs and dining room personnel
  • Willingness to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Compensation

The Navigators offers a competitive hourly rate of $14.42-$15.00/hour.
