Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in assigned units, maintaining accountability for your own practice and delegating/providing direction to other nursing personnel as needed.
- Assess, diagnose, plan, and evaluate patient care, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of services.
- Enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices, staying up-to-date with current nursing standards and best practices.
- Interact with and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and personalized care.
- Integrate research findings into clinical practice, ensuring evidence-based care and improved patient outcomes.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin, with a good standing record.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of hire; PALS certification within 6 months.
- Preferred certifications: ENPC and TNCC.
- Non-violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training every two years.
- Basic computer skills, including email, online learning tools, and electronic health records.
- Microsoft Office Suite skills, including basic document creation and editing.
