Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Management Solutions Developer to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership on complex projects, overseeing multiple phases and ensuring timely completion.
  • Act as an expert in business or functional areas, formulating and defining system scope and objectives.
  • Design and develop highly complex software applications in various environments and platforms, adhering to accepted standards for robustness, re-usability, modularity, efficiency, etc.
  • Lead project planning and management efforts, estimating software development efforts based on high-level specifications and/or logical system design.
  • Supervise research and development activities to incorporate new and useful technology and software engineering techniques or practices into practical use within the department and UMMS.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience required. Master's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Seven years of progressively responsible experience in information systems, including five years of programming or systems analysis, or equivalent related experience required.
  • Previous experience in leading a project and/or team preferred.
  • Certification in Service Management, Project Management, or Business Analysis desired.
  • Infor Certification and experience with Infor Workforce Management, Infor CloudSuite technology (ION), Process Designer, Configuration Console, Landmark Pattern Language, Web Services, Process Automation, Cloverleaf, and other Infor tools preferred.
