Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Adult or Child Psychiatrist to join our team at Burke Mental Health Clinic. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for performing psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments with consumers as appropriate. You will also provide support and consultation to other team members and service providers, and document patient communication and clinical treatment accurately and appropriately in the agency's electronic health record system.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments with consumers as appropriate.
  • Provide support and consultation to other team members and service providers.
  • Document patient communication and clinical treatment accurately and appropriately in the agency's electronic health record system.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited program in your area.
  • Licensed in the State of Texas as a Physician.
  • Valid Texas driver's license.
  • Board Certification in Adult Psychiatry and/or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry if seeing children/adolescents.

Physical Requirements:

  • Visual and auditory skills sufficient to evaluate, treat, and monitor patients.
  • Mobility required to bend, reach, lift (up to 50 pounds) while assisting patients.
  • Fine motor skills for legible handwriting and driving.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Emergency services participation as per current policy.

Compensation:

  • Commensurate with experience, certification, and licensure.
