Impact and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with key business stakeholders to formulate and implement category strategies while supporting ongoing sourcing activities.
- Identify opportunities for value enhancement and cost reduction across various spend categories to meet financial objectives.
- Provide comprehensive insights to internal business partners regarding cost drivers, risks, and potential opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams in managing intricate strategic sourcing projects, which encompass gathering sourcing requirements, vendor evaluation, executing complex RFx processes, negotiations, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing contract development and execution.
- Conduct thorough market research, cost analysis, and financial risk evaluations.
- Promote a standardized approach to the sourcing process, including procure-to-pay, contract management, process enhancements, and customer service.
- Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders through active listening and effective problem-solving, establishing a trusted advisory role.
- Build and sustain cooperative relationships with suppliers, addressing performance and capability issues to ensure alignment with internal expectations and contractual commitments.
- Develop and implement Strategic Relationship Management (SRM) programs for key supplier partnerships.
- Assist with additional initiatives beyond the Facilities & Construction category as required.
