Custodial Lead Position
SBM Management Services is seeking a skilled Custodial Lead to oversee daily operations and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of custodial staff, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Assist with training and development of employees, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
- Monitor work activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit reports, including pass-downs, weekly, and monthly summaries.
- Conduct quality, service, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair, as well as track supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Issue equipment and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
- Monitor employee use of personal protective equipment, supplies, and equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Report accidents and incidents to the supervisor immediately, providing detailed information and recommendations for corrective action.
- Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement, maintaining records of training, inspections, and data collection.
Requirements:
- One to three months' related experience and/or training; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must speak fluent English and Spanish.
- Need a valid driver's license and personal vehicle registered in applicant name, with mileage reimbursement provided.
- Good written and verbal skills, excellent customer service, time management skills, and training abilities.
- Use of forklifts and pallet jacks a plus.
- MUST have prior lead/management experience.
- Driver's License Required.
Compensation: $17.00-$18.00 / per hour
Shift: FHD: Sun-Wed 6:00AM-4:30PM
