Role Summary:

We are seeking a Java Software Engineer to architect, develop, and sustain web applications utilizing Java technologies. This position requires proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, ensuring optimal integration and functionality. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and experience in agile project environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Java and J2EE applications.
  • Leverage the latest version of Angular and TypeScript for development.
  • Create user interfaces adhering to Angular best practices.
  • Modernize existing interfaces with state-of-the-art front-end technologies.
  • Write code using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Make essential technical and design choices for Angular initiatives.

  • Conduct unit testing and engage in a continuous integration environment.

  • Employ agile development methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java and J2EE development.
  • A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Proficient in the latest version of Angular and TypeScript.
  • Experience in developing web services using HTTP REST/JSON and SOAP, along with Oracle PL/SQL, and familiarity with data transfer objects and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and similar containerization technologies, as well as knowledge of web design patterns and front-end technologies like HTML5, jQuery, and MVC frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with unit testing and working in a continuous integration environment, with the ability to thrive in a semi-structured setting where requirements and priorities may shift.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively gather and formalize requirements from stakeholders.
