Role Summary:
The Lead Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in the DARKWING program, providing engineering solutions for a diverse range of clients, including commercial, military, and intelligence sectors. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated CI polygraph.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost-effective engineering and sustainment solutions.
- Serve as a liaison to coordinate program efforts and activities.
- Travel to various sites to gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies.
- Maintain and manage servers, network switches, routers, and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system anomalies and failures.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Sec+ certification or higher.
- Experience with Windows Active Directory and administration of Windows OS or UNIX/LINUX systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in SPLUNK Administration and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Familiarity with Windows Server versions 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Experience in configuring and administering Group Policy Objects.
- Knowledge of virtual machine environments (VMWARE) and backup/recovery solutions (VEEAM).
- Understanding of ICD 503 Security Requirements and IT troubleshooting.
- Ability to apply STIG settings to network infrastructure and manage data center operations.
Security Clearance:
This role requires a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens.
Work Environment:
This position is full-time and will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. We offer flexible work schedules to accommodate our employees' needs.
