Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our team at Core & Main. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing counter sales and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process sales orders and arrange delivery of products to customers.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and provide updates on order progress.
  • Act as a liaison between our warehouse team and customers to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Ensure that purchase orders are completed and orders are pulled as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls and ensuring that our counters are properly stocked.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales and customer service is required.
Working Conditions
  • Work is typically performed in a comfortable indoor environment with minimal exposure to unpleasant conditions.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required, but less than 10% of the time.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunities to move about.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success in providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using sales order computer software.
  • Knowledge of Core & Main's products and services.
