Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at DBHW Wealth Partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and procedures, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for clients, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.
  • Apply accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information and provide insights to clients.
  • Collaborate with the tax team to ensure accurate financial statements are ready for tax return preparation.
  • Train and mentor less-experienced staff to enhance their accounting and tax knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or substantial previous experience.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
