Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will work closely with our pharmacists to assist with various tasks, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists with filling prescriptions, counting and pouring medications, and verifying patient information.
  • Process transactions, handle customer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records, including patient information and prescription data.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • PTCB certification a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
