**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labor Foreman to join our team at Superior Contracting Services. As a Labor Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and managing a team of laborers at various job sites throughout New England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily tasks and prioritize projects to ensure timely completion.
- Delegate responsibilities and projects to team members and contractors.
- Emphasize the importance of safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Resolve conflicts and miscommunications quickly and effectively.
- Regularly report project status to supervisors and clients.
- Interact with clients to ensure daily tasks are completed to their satisfaction.
- Communicate with the Superior Field Operations Management team and clients.
- Track and prioritize tasks for the labor team.
- Complete work orders and submit time reports in a timely manner.
- Perform physical labor at construction sites and operate hand and power tools.
- May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, and clean up rubble and debris.
- May assist other craft workers.
Requirements:
- Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to work in, on, around, over, and under equipment and machinery.
- Must be able to work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials and equipment (50-70+ lbs).
- Must be able to work in adverse or extreme weather conditions.
- Must be able to wear and work in personal protective equipment.
- Must have a vehicle or reliable means of transportation to and from job sites.
- Must have a high regard for safety in the workplace.
- Good attitude: must work well with others and take direction.
- Must be responsible and punctual.
