Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labor Foreman to join our team at Superior Contracting Services. As a Labor Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and managing a team of laborers at various job sites throughout New England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily tasks and prioritize projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Delegate responsibilities and projects to team members and contractors.
  • Emphasize the importance of safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Resolve conflicts and miscommunications quickly and effectively.
  • Regularly report project status to supervisors and clients.
  • Interact with clients to ensure daily tasks are completed to their satisfaction.
  • Communicate with the Superior Field Operations Management team and clients.
  • Track and prioritize tasks for the labor team.
  • Complete work orders and submit time reports in a timely manner.
  • Perform physical labor at construction sites and operate hand and power tools.
  • May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, and clean up rubble and debris.
  • May assist other craft workers.

Requirements:

  • Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must be able to work in, on, around, over, and under equipment and machinery.
  • Must be able to work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.
  • Must be able to lift heavy materials and equipment (50-70+ lbs).
  • Must be able to work in adverse or extreme weather conditions.
  • Must be able to wear and work in personal protective equipment.
  • Must have a vehicle or reliable means of transportation to and from job sites.
  • Must have a high regard for safety in the workplace.
  • Good attitude: must work well with others and take direction.
  • Must be responsible and punctual.
