Anesthesiology Specialist

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for preparing and administering anesthesia, providing patient care before, during, and after surgery, and participating in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

• Anesthesia Administration: Prepare and administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgery, including pre-anesthesia evaluation, intraoperative care, and post-anesthesia recovery.
• Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures: Participate in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including trauma stabilization and critical care interventions.
• Pain Management: Diagnose and deliver acute and chronic pain management to patients.
• Professional Development: Stay current with new techniques, technology, and medications related to anesthesia practice.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.

• Active RN License: An active and unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• No Flagged Licenses: No flagged or under investigation licenses.

• Clinical Expertise: Clinical expertise and technical proficiency in administering anesthesia.
• Critical Thinking: Critical thinking and effective decision making.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the surgical team.
• Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and adaptability to changing patient conditions.

• BSN Degree: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• MSN or DNP Degree: A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program.
• Certification: Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• CME: Continued medical education (CME) to maintain NBCRNA certification and medical licenses.
