Foundry Worker

PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Foundry Worker to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Foundry Worker, you will be responsible for melting and pouring aluminum castings, core making, finishing, and assembly, mold making, and safely operating an overhead crane.

Key Responsibilities:

• Melting and pouring of aluminum castings
• Core making, finishing, and assembly (plaster cores)
• Mold making (sand)
• Mold shake out and casting cleaning
• Safely operating an overhead crane
• Ability to interpret 2D drawings
• Ability to document process information

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 3 years manufacturing experience
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Foundry or casting experience is preferred
• Good vision and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Ability to withstand standing, walking, bending, twisting, and temperature extremes
